I can’t say enough good things about Attorney Robert Demirji and his team.
I found myself dealing with some serious legal issues stemming from a night of excessive drinking. I was facing nine charges, and as a professional working for an organization that takes these matters very seriously, I was terrified about what this could mean for my career and my future.
After I sobered up, I had no idea who to call. I got on Google, found Robert, and reached out. Within an hour, he called me back. I explained what had happened over the phone, and he invited me into his office the following week.

i’m filled with SO many emotions right now!!! i’d usually be embarrassed to share my story like usual, but i want to be able to help someone who many be in my case and need help. i got my first dui back in april of 2023. i got off with a pb&j, 12 week alcohol assessment class and one year unsupervised probation. unfortunately in march of this year, i fell asleep at a red light which resulted in me getting arrested for dui because i had one drink earlier in the day, worked almost 15 with no food in my system. i knew i was screwed and wouldn’t be able to get through this without a lawyer. i was referred to Robert by a friend of a friend. from the minute i met Robert, he took every chance he could get to make sure i was prepped for my court date today, but as well as make sure all my questions and concerns were answered. there was NO way in hell i should have won this case but by the amazing and incredible job that Robert did today, all my charges were dropped, and i was found not guilty. i was even okay with just being placed on probation, pay fines and was willing to have the breathalyzer installed in my car. but when it comes to Robert… when he wants to win, he will always win. and he ALWAYS wants to win!! i’m truly so grateful for him. the amount of money and mental health he has saved me is even more of a blessing. I hired Gary after reading all the good reviews. Gary is humurous guy, I'll tell you that. There's never a dull moment with him. And you'll get use to it after a meeting or two. At first you'll probably think he's really blunt like I did but he does care about his clients. I had known both Gary and Robert over five years representing myself and my family in various legal matters related to traffic violation including a DUI and personal injury case. The last DUI was a third incident that could have sent me to jail between six months to a year. With the help of Robert Demirji, I was sentenced to one week going to Right Turn.Here is how this soft spoken attorney Robert made the plea agreement:Mr. Robert Demirji convinced the state attorney to change the charges to a DWI with two month in jail and $500 in penalty to which I fully agreed. The plea deal was presented to the judge and I was asked if I am accepting responsibility. I let the judge know that I am fully responsible. Here is the part where Mr. Robert played a role in pleading to the judge on my behalf that I should not go to jail based on my circumstances i.e. related to health matters. My lawyer Robert called in a couple of witnesses, Mr. Matthew Bennett (my personal injury attorney) and the arresting officer. Both witnesses testified about my character and that I am not a threat to society. Both witnesses relayed to the judge about the health issues I had and I should not be going to jail.The prosecutor (the state attorney) on his rebuttal insisted in me going to jail as it is a third offense. By the way, Gary came to court in the morning even though he was really sick on that day. He was great very professionally and really good at his job. I am a DC special police officer and cannot have a record. Gary got my dui charged dropped. The police officer and the prosecutor met with Gary in the conference room outside the courtroom and worked it out.I accepted reckless driving and a fine. Robert and Gary really fight. I went to court 2 times to get this deal. They fight!

Gary is just the man for the job. A little background first. I am in the military and before leaving for my basic training, I got arrested and was charged with a DUI. When I explained everything that had happened to Gary, he told me my possibilities where slim at first. I went to training for 6 months and when I got back, he had already did what he does best and told me we have a shot. I got to court today and while I was been tried, with all confidence and professionalism, we won the case and the DUI charge was dropped without even have to mention that I am in the military. We are very happy because our business was accused of theft which would have hurt our business. Robert prepared our defense. The first time we came to court, we demanded a trial. The state asked for a postponement and we had to come back. This time Gary came with us and he made the same argument Robert did and the state had to drop the case against us. A great start for the New Year!

Okay so this guy is a freaking anxiety savior! I had court in Montgomery county and man was I having a bad feeling about going to court. I appealed a terrible outcome in district court for a DUI. In district court I was sentenced to 60 days and a big fine, I was referred to Robert and Gary and I asked them to appeal my case. They replaced my prior lawyer and worked very hard. Today, my case is over. The judge gave me no jail and I pled guilty to a much less serious charge than my old lawyer got me. And, I even got a refund of my district court fine! I feel happy and overwhelmed with excitement that my case is over and worked out better than I had hoped.

I found Gary through a quick 'DUI lawyer" search on google about four months ago, I called his office and they were able to set up an appointment same day!! I almost didn't go for the appointment as I was really terrified and I thought that it would be some type of lawyer/client interrogation which I didn't need as I knew I had really messed up. Police were called, I did not get arrested even though the ex-wife asked the officer to arrest me 3 times with a protective order in her hand. Police report "there were no visual injuries that could be verified, nor could any assaults be confirmed". I had bad lawyer from another law firm (Marcus Bonsib) to defend me, we went to Court without the officer nor police report. I was found guilty because she has 2 family members lied under oath witnesses against me. Then late August 2015 we went back to Court for PBJ hearing, they were there again crying crocodile tears, screaming because divorce proceedings is not over yet. My name is Caleb Wagner and I decided to hire Gary as my lawyer considering the charges I got charged with were pretty terrifying if I was convicted. Yes it may seem he's pricy for a lawyer within the area but without a doubt he has alot of knowledge and connections within the area and can handle your case with ease. I'm from ohio and didn't even have to appear in court one time and before all this I've had alot of covcitons for driving fast and he still managed to come through when I needed him. By far without a doubt he is a 5 Star Lawyer and deserves credit when it's do. I recommend him to anyone dealing with any traffic vilatupns especially. The guy knows his stuff.

The best I had hoped for was a PBJ and that was a long shot. ... .considering I totaled my car with my 11 year old daughter in the back seat. Getting into trouble is the easy part, but getting out of trouble is the hard part. Like many of you, I am someone who had never been charged for anything before. I have the highest regard for Gary Gerstenfield. In late December, 2012, I had a problem with the state courts in Maryland. As time went by, Gary Gerstenfield told me that it has been a year since the event and the Maryland constitution stated very clearly that a trial would be expedited, within 6 to 12 months I had a 4th court trial scheduled on February 6th (all previous court appearances were delayed except for the 6th of February, and he raised the issue of the tardiness in resolving my case. I got myself into quite a jam at the end of 2011 with a DUI in Montgomery County. At first I chose an attorney from the Baltimore County area (where I'm from) to represent me. I later found out that this was a bad choice as he didn't really defend me as tactfully as he could have. I was put on probation (with a DUI monitor) for 6 months, which would have been great had I not screwed up the terms of my probation—not showing up to appointments, failing the interlock device, etc. So once again I was up against Montgomery County. This time I decided to go with Gary Gerstenfield, as I was at the end of my rope and he was recommended as the best MoCo had to offer. Well, he was better than that. As easy as it was to dig myself into such a hole, he more than skillfully helped me out of it. I don't say this to celebrate avoiding jail time, which was DEFINITELY where I was headed. I'll start off by saying I was convicted of a DWI while I was on supervised probation and if convicted I would automatically receive 18 month from my prior conviction in Washington D.C. I cannot say enough about Gary's services.. I picked up an embarrassing solicitation charge last year and opted to use a cheap lawyer service with the understanding it was my first time offense that I would have no problem getting past the charge. Unfortunately this was not the case.. I pleaded guilty and received no probation or community service all of a sudden I had a criminal charge misdemeanor charge and therefore would have a permanent criminal record!! Little did I know he would the correct choice for an attorney?
